Nail trims are done wherever you prefer (along with good lighting).

 

What if my pet is really difficult for getting their nails trimmed? 

Anna has numerous ways to approach challenging pets. She patiently finds the technique that works best for each animal.

 

How often should Iget my pet's nails trimmed? 

On average the majority of animals will be ready for their next in 6-8 weeks 

 

How do I know when my pet needs a nail trim? 

Every animal's nail growth is unique, some grow faster, some grow slower, some animals are more active. 

Therefore here are some signs to watch for: 

DOGS

  • Clicking on floors and pavement 
  • Physically chewing on their nails 
  • Slipping on floors 
  • Nails crossing over or twisting together 
  • Cracked or broken nails (especially in the winter)
  • Curling under and growing into the paw pad (most often seen with the dewclaws)

 

CATS

  • Clicking on floors
  • Getting caught/stuck on carpets and fabrics
  • Physically chewing on their nails 
  • Curling under and growing into the paw pad (most often seen with the dewclaws)

 

RABBITS and GUINEA PIGS

  • Visibly observe long nails 
  • Nails crossing over or twisting together
